Hello Experts,

I have 2 questions related to db:-

1) Why do we make cursors ? Is there any alternative to achieve the same functionality without using cursors ? In which scenarios cursors are preferred.
2) what are the advantages of stored procedures over triggers ?

    Cursors are like pointer to context area,We make use of cursors , to allocate and deallocate memory area.

    We make use of cursors in the scenario where query returns more then one rows.
